Steve Bloom, chief designer and partner at spacefittingfurniture has been designing kitchens since 1978 when he left school and worked for his father, Melvyn, who founded the business in 1972.

Steve was involved with installations, manufacture and design for many years, eventually taking over the business with his wife Claire in 1996 in Whitchurch Road, Cardiff.

The company has evolved into the leading contemporary welsh kitchen showroom, winning several awards.
